If Hope Dies wrote their first riff in 1998 in Auburn, New York. From that day until 2006, they released three full-length records and toured the country with metalcore powerhouses like As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Devildriver, Unearth, All The Remains and pretty much every mid 2000s metal-leaning hardcore band you can think of. They played several Hellfests (US), New England Metal & Hardcore Fests, and were featured on MTVs Headbangers Ball back in the day.
After years of licensing bouncing back and forth between labels and distributors, the band’s entire catalog has found a forever home on Sakers Music. Summer 2020, Sakers digitally released “Amongst The Catacombs Of Auburn, NY (1998-2001)” a compilation of the band’s long out-of-print demos and early self-releases along with the band’s debut full length “Siege Equipment For Spiritual Decline” which had also never had a proper digital release. Fall 2020 brought the re-release of "The Ground Is Rushing Up To Meet Us" & "Life In Ruin" from the bands Ironclad/Metal Blade Records years. "Life In Ruin" was released for the first time on vinyl at the very end of 2020.
